Nailpro CND Education Ambassador Intro!

What an experience to attend and graduate from CND INTERNATIONAL BOOTCAMP 2016!  One can only imagine the excitement when being invited to participate in a career changing opportunity.  

For those that are not familiar, let me catch you up!  CND, a top, innovative company in the Nail Industry, offers the best that Education has to offer for Nail Professionals and Consumers alike!  This may seem like a given, but fortunately CND goes above and beyond anyones expectations with support behind their products, technique, fashion and nail trends.  Bidding to become a CND Education Ambassador is an opportunity of a lifetime, as all of this information becomes a platform to share and teach other Nail Professionals looking to advance in their career and allows us to increase consumer awareness by sharing our knowledge with our client base!  Once a bid is accepted, that's where Bootcamp comes in.  

Back to the career changing opportunity... (haha!) My bid was accepted and I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the Bootcamp taking place in Amsterdam!  10 Days of bonding with 6 of CND's greatest Leaders, 28 attendees from 10 different countries, lectures, product knowledge, assessments and a whilwind of opportunity to grow.  I'm happy to say that not only did I graduate, but walked away with "Best Academics" and the "Polished" award, representing one of the 5 CND Educator Principles.

• What topics/techniques were covered during the CND Boot Camp?

Attending the CND International Bootcamp was combining Nail Technician Schooling with a minor in Communications/Presentation.  It is a very well executed week full of learning, taking it back to the natural nail basics and gradually working our way into extreme nails.  The beauty of CND in general is that it is very systematic.  Each and every lecture and hands on portion was easy to follow as that is what CND is all about!  I was very honored to have been a part of the program under mentorship of 5 wonderful CND Education Ambassadors, each bringing their own experiences and techniques to the table.    

• What did you take away from the boot camp? 

CND International Bootcamp is a very vigorous program designed for a higher level of education and self-improvement.  These skills will not only be useful in Facilitating a CND Education class, but also flows in life experiences as well.  In attendance were more than 28 women from 10 different countries.  These experiences brought us all together as we are like minded people part of the same journey.  Not only did I walk away being a CND Educator, but I left Amsterdam with life long friends and an experience of a lifetime!  

• What do you hope to accomplish in the coming year?

Once you are part of the family, I feel the personal and professional growth continues.  I am very excited to share my knowledge with other Nail Professionals looking for the same quality of nail care and services.  It would be selfish to keep all of this great information to myself.  Not only will I be facilitating classes but I will also keep attending them as well as each CND Education Ambassador provides something new and different to take back to the bank!  I would love to take part in any and all events that CND has to offer to continue my growth and inspire other Nail Professionals.  Hopefully someday in the future I can put myself in the shoes of one of those great mentors that were an intricate part of my CND Career!
